Farm Trails

Dig out your walking shoes and bring your binoculars to take a stroll around our farm. We have route around the boundary of part of our farm. Take one of our route maps with you and learn about the things you see as you walk along.

If you are quiet you may catch a glimpse of the badgers in Oaks Dingle but don't forget to look up occasionally because we have a family of Red Kites too.

We are situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty and we have a great variety of bird life. Brown Hares are a common sight not to mention the fauna and flora.

Check out the Tugford Ash, assessed by the Blue Remembered Hills Veteran Tree Management Plan. It is enormous and estimated to be 466 years old.

Well where has the year gone! Christmas was busy and New Year too. Everyone feels a little down in the dumps during January but it's the best time to plan ahead and book those weekends with families or arrange a girls weekend. Our best rates of the year are in January and February so make the most of it and come along to stay with us. The log burner in Meal House will welcome you back from a days walking on The Brown Clee Hill and later you can relax in the Jacuzzi Hot Tub. What could sound better than that! Happy New Year to you all.
