Autumn Sunshine

The hound puppies, Fetlock and Fearful are growing fast. They were even allowed to meet Coral and help turn her out into the field after she'd been ridden. This proved very exciting all round especially when Fetlock thought it perfectly ok to jump up and give Coral a big lick! Thankfully she accepted in good grace after looking sideways at me for approval.

Widget has been entertained by a family staying in Trap Cottage. Even the Dad had to play ball!

We have a new (second hand) combine which Wyndham is itching to try but the weather has changed and with all the showers we keep getting it means the corn doesn't dry enough to get started. We shall keep watching the farming forecast with hope.

Well where has the year gone! Christmas was busy and New Year too. Everyone feels a little down in the dumps during January but it's the best time to plan ahead and book those weekends with families or arrange a girls weekend. Our best rates of the year are in January and February so make the most of it and come along to stay with us. The log burner in Meal House will welcome you back from a days walking on The Brown Clee Hill and later you can relax in the Jacuzzi Hot Tub. What could sound better than that! Happy New Year to you all.
