Farm Trails

Dig out your walking shoes and bring your binoculars to take a stroll around our farm. We have route around the boundary of part of our farm. Take one of our route maps with you and learn about the things you see as you walk along.

If you are quiet you may catch a glimpse of the badgers in Oaks Dingle but don't forget to look up occasionally because we have a family of Red Kites too.

We are situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty and we have a great variety of bird life. Brown Hares are a common sight not to mention the fauna and flora.

Check out the Tugford Ash, assessed by the Blue Remembered Hills Veteran Tree Management Plan. It is enormous and estimated to be 466 years old.

Blog - the latest from Tugford Farm Accommodation in Shropshire...

We have survived the Beast from the East apart from a few burst pipes and some guests cars being snow drifted in but nothing stops Tugford Farm Holiday Cottages and Livery for very long. The days are getting longer and Spring is definitely with us now. Easter is early this year but we have lots of availability between now and the summer so grab your self a weekend getaway or a longer break and come to relax and enjoy the hot tub and scenery here in South Shropshire. We are in the middle of lambing so there are lots of new lambs arriving daily and the horses are vacating their stables for sheepy maternity wards. It's just like 'Call the Midwife' only more agricultural and less bedside manner! Soon the fields will be greening up and the hedgerows full of Primroses, Campions and Bluebells. It's just the best time of year so let's look forward to welcoming new and old friends to Tugford Farm Holiday Cottages.
