Trap Cottage

Thank you for a fabulous weekend - we all loved it. Rare to find such a relaxed place with something to keep everyone happy from age 3 upwards. Kane was beside himself hugging the hound puppies and the lambs and being able to ride his bike. Pete enjoyed the mountain biking and me and Emma had fun on the horses. Absolutely want to come back.

Meal House

Our group of friends and family have just returned from a break away at The Meal House and have had a wonderfully peaceful and relaxing break in this corner of beautiful Shropshire. The accommodation was lovely, clean and comfortable. The icing on the cake being the hot tub where we relaxed after days out and looked up at the stars in the sky...heaven! Great days out in Ludlow, Bridgnorth and Ironbridge are only a short drive away and there are some lovely walks straight from the gate of the farm up to lovely countryside which were just what the doctor ordered.
The brewery tour at Ludlow Brewery was well worth a visit (£6 for the tour and the pint from people who clearly love what they do and care about the quality of the product...brill). All in all a fab week and we cant wait to come back very soon.
Thank you to Bronwen for making our stay so lovely.

This was a perfect cottage for  a three family, three generation weekend break. We all had a great time. Harvest evening service in the nearby church and the sound of bells was an unexpected bonus.

Blog - the latest from Tugford Farm Accommodation in Shropshire...

Harvesting is over! The combine was brought home last night after a very testing end to the summer. The planting of next years crops now begins in haste before the ground gets too wet to work. The horses winter beds are down in the stables waiting for them to come in at night as soon as it drops too cold or wet and the logs are being loaded into the log shed ready for the log burner in Meal House and the farm house to keep us all warm. The Jacuzzi comes into its own during the winter months. It's the time I like to use it most. Everyone has suddenly started cooking roast dinners and puddings and the salad bowl is to be found at the back of the cupboard. We still have guests booked in with their horses enjoying the Autumnal colours and changing vista of the Brown Clee Hill and as long as you have your wellies or walking boots there's a host of fabulous walking out there. As we head towards Christmas our rates become such great value so why not grab a weekend away and curl up by that log burner in Meal House or jump in the Jacuzzi and watch the steam rise!
