Sunshine and Showers

I feel sure that within a few days it will pick up and we will enjoy the long sunny days of May and June.
The lambs are out in the fields except for a few ewes who are still expecting their arrivals - does this mean they are the ugly ones or the tups were worn out?? - who knows, let's assumme all ewes are pretty to the tups.
We have been full of families, singers filling the Brown Clee Hill with their vocals and cylclists this weekend. At the farm next door it looked like hundreds of school children were camped out doing their Duke of Edinburgh awards. We had to keep a very close eye on Widget who was keen to join them to achieve a gold award! Last year she walked over the hill with them and I had to collect her from Ditton Priors where she had found some boys to play football with!
